🍃 SheThrivesUKTrust – Our Journey, Our Vision, Our Mission 🍃
SheThrivesUKTrust began as a grassroots, unincorporated community group with a simple but powerful purpose: to create safe, supportive, and inspiring opportunities for young people to thrive.
Our journey started through SheThrives (Sisterhood), supporting girls and young women through education, mentoring, wellbeing programmes, leadership development, and positive role models. As we listened to the needs of our community and witnessed the impact of our work, it became clear that this support was equally needed by boys and young men.
As a result, we are proud to be expanding our family through HeThrives (Brotherhood), extending the same commitment to empowering young people through education, personal development, mentoring, leadership, and community engagement.
Today, SheThrivesUKTrust is more than an organisation, it is a movement. A movement that brings together young people, families, educators, mentors, volunteers, and community leaders who share a common vision of creating opportunities, building confidence, and helping young people realise their full potential.
We are particularly passionate about supporting diverse and underserved communities, including Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities, where inequalities can create barriers to opportunity, educational achievement, wellbeing, and social mobility. Through accessible programmes, education, mentoring, enrichment, and community-led initiatives, we aim to help bridge these gaps and create pathways to success.
🍃 Our Vision
To create thriving, inclusive communities where every young person, regardless of background or circumstance, has access to the opportunities, support, and encouragement needed to reach their full potential and make a positive contribution to society.
We envision a future where barriers are reduced, aspirations are nurtured, and young people are empowered to become confident, resilient, compassionate, and successful individuals who positively impact the world around them.
🍃 Our Mission
Our mission is to Empower, Educate, and Elevate young people through education, mentoring, personal development, wellbeing initiatives, and community engagement.
Through SheThrives (Sisterhood) and HeThrives (Brotherhood), we create safe, supportive, and inclusive spaces where young people can build confidence, access opportunities, develop leadership skills, strengthen their wellbeing, and cultivate a strong sense of purpose and belonging.
Together, we are building one movement, one family, and one community, committed to bridging inequalities, celebrating diversity, strengthening communities, and empowering the next generation to thrive.
🍃 SheThrives (Sisterhood). HeThrives (Brotherhood). One Movement. One Community. Empowering, Educating, and Elevating the Next Generation. 🍃

Our programme may include visits to museums, nature reserves, cultural institutions, universities, places of worship, heritage sites, community organisations, and educational workshops. We also aim to offer recreational and team-building experiences such as seaside trips, adventure parks, sports activities, and outdoor learning opportunities.
These experiences help young people build confidence, develop independence, strengthen leadership skills, form positive relationships, and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them.
As our movement continues to grow, we hope to expand our offer to include national and international educational visits to destinations of historical, cultural, and spiritual significance, including Andalusia, Istanbul, and Makkah for Umrah, subject to planning, funding, and availability.

What the point of Flexi Learning?
Our Flexi Learning option has been designed to provide families with greater choice and flexibility while still benefiting from the high-quality teaching and supportive environment offered at HomeEd Hub.
Whether you are exploring alternative educational options, supplementing your existing home education provision, or considering joining the Hub on a longer-term basis, Flexi Learning allows students to attend selected subject sessions without committing to the full programme.
Families can choose individual sessions in English, Mathematics, or Science, enabling students to access targeted academic support based on their specific needs and goals.
Flexi Learning also offers an opportunity for students and parents to experience our teaching approach, learning environment, and community ethos first-hand before making a longer-term commitment to the HomeEd Hub programme.
For many families, it provides a valuable stepping stone towards our structured learning pathway, which prepares Key Stage 3 students for progression onto the Pearson Edexcel International GCSE (IGCSE) programme at Key Stage 4.
🍃 Rooted in strong values and high expectations, our Flexi Learning sessions offer the same supportive, nurturing, and inclusive environment that sits at the heart of everything we do, helping young people grow in confidence, strengthen their knowledge, and develop a positive attitude towards learning, Insha'Allah. 🤲🏽🍃
Is there other costs?
Yes. In addition to programme fees, parents/carers are responsible for purchasing any required textbooks, revision guides, workbooks, and learning materials needed to support their child's studies.
As students progress through the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE pathway, we may recommend specific resources to ensure they are fully equipped for learning and examination preparation.
Please note that external examination fees are not included within programme costs and will need to be paid separately by parents/carers when students are entered for their IGCSE examinations. We understand that examination costs can vary between centres, and we will always endeavour to identify the most suitable and cost-effective examination options available for our families, Insha'Allah.
We also aim to provide a variety of educational visits, workshops, enrichment activities, and community projects throughout the year. Where applicable, these activities may incur additional charges, which will vary depending on the nature of the activity and associated costs. Families will always be informed in advance of any optional trip, workshop, or enrichment fee.
We are committed to being transparent about costs and will communicate any additional expenses clearly and well in advance, allowing families to plan accordingly, Insha'Allah. 🍃🤲🏽
Is there anything else I need to know?
Yes. HomeEd Hub is built on a culture of mutual respect, personal responsibility, and positive character development. We strive to create a calm, welcoming, and purposeful environment where all students feel safe, valued, and able to learn.
We expect every student to demonstrate excellent behaviour, courtesy, and consideration towards others. Behaviour that negatively impacts the wellbeing, safety, or learning experience of others is not compatible with our ethos.
This includes:
❌ Bullying, intimidation, or exclusion of others
❌ Rudeness, disrespectful language, or inappropriate conduct
❌ Damage to property, equipment, or learning resources
❌ Disruptive behaviour that affects teaching and learning
❌ Any actions that compromise the safety or wellbeing of the community
We encourage students to embody positive values such as kindness, honesty, responsibility, humility, self-discipline, and respect for others. These principles are central to both our educational approach and our Islamic ethos.
By joining HomeEd Hub, students and families become part of a community that is committed to excellence, good character, and supporting one another in a positive and uplifting environment, Insha'Allah. 🍃🤲🏽
